I have two amazing colleagues and friends who are both coaches and trainers for the corporate market.

This past month, I had conversations with both of them:

Coach number 1 said: “Business is really slow at the moment.  I’ve possibly only earned half of what I earned by this time last year.”

When I asked, “Why?”  
He sighed and wearily said:

“Ah, you know, I think it’s the Economy.”

Coach number 2 said:  “Wow, my business is booming.  I can’t keep up with the demand.  It’s amazing!”

When I asked, “Why?”  
He enthusiastically said: 

“Ah, you know, I think it’s the Economy. I think it’s turning around.” 

Two people. Same industry.
Same service.
Completely different experiences.

Both think it’s the economy. 
How is that possible? 

In business, as in your personal finances, it’s never about the Economy.  You can’t control that.
